These lids are made of 100% food grade silicon. Each lid fits multiple sizes and shapes of containers … even things that didn’t come with a lid. The same lid that’s on the watermelon (pictured below) is also on the square dish next to it. Likewise, the same lid that’s covering the 1/2 grapefruit (we call it the #2 lid) is also on the pitcher of Kool-Aid(R). By the way, it forms a water tight seal on that pitcher.
